A2E3 AB, owned by brothers Marcus and Tobias Sj\u00f6dell, has entered into an agreement to acquire all shares in Ferbe Tools AB as of September 1, 2025. The acquisition also includes the two properties where Ferbe Tools AB currently conducts its operations.\u2028The acquisition is a strategic step in A2E3\u2019s long-term commitment to grow within advanced tool manufacturing.<\/p>\n
Since 2020, A2E3 AB has owned the Sm\u00e5land-based tooling company Form & Verktygs AB L\u00f6\u00f6f. Founded in 1962 in Gislaved, the company has built a strong reputation over the years in the design and manufacture of mold tools. The L\u00f6\u00f6f family ran the business for two generations before it was acquired by brothers Tobias and Marcus Sj\u00f6dell in 2020. Since then, the company has received the \u201cToolmaker of the Year\u201d award in both 2023 and again in 2025, granted by the Swedish Plastics Industry Association.<\/p>\n
Ferbe Tools AB is a well-known name in the industry and has long been recognized for its technical expertise, precision, and quality. In the late 1990s, Ferbe was one of Europe\u2019s largest tooling companies with nearly 90 employees and remains today a significant supplier of advanced precision tools.<\/p>\n
Ferbe Tools AB will continue to operate under its own brand as an independent unit within the A2E3 Group. Tobias Sj\u00f6dell will take over as CEO, and the daily operations will continue in their current form. With a vision to become one of Europe\u2019s leading mold tool manufacturers, we will purposefully develop facilities and machinery, and increase automation and skills development. In connection with the acquisition of the properties on Baldersv\u00e4gen in Gislaved, Form & Verktygs AB L\u00f6\u00f6f will relocate its current operations from Solhemsgatan to Baldersv\u00e4gen during the autumn and spring of 2026.<\/p>\n
